How to save a fortune on hot tub heating in winter

Zoltán Gubicza

A hot tub is at its best on cold autumn and winter days — but in cool weather the running costs go up too. Heat does not escape through the walls of the spa: 80% of it leaves upwards, through the surface of the water. That makes the thermal cover itself the single most important factor in saving energy.

How does a professional cover help you save?

  1. 1

    High-density insulation

Our covers are built with a special insulating core that keeps the heat sealed in, so the spa heater does not have to run flat out all the time.

  2. 2

    A perfect, millimetre-accurate seal

If the cover does not sit exactly on the rim, warm air escapes through the gaps. Made-to-measure manufacturing guarantees that the cover lies flush on the spa.

  3. 3

    Wind protection

Covers fitted with storm-proof fastenings — straps and buckles — cannot be lifted by cold wind, so the spa stays a closed system.

If your current cover no longer holds the heat, ask us for a quote on a made-to-measure thermal cover and cut your heating costs before the real cold arrives.
